Trees: Part I

I took this picture at the advice of my dad when I was quite young. Since then, I have been taking many pictures of tree silhouettes, but not many turned out as well as this one. Beginner's luck I guess. (Arizona)
This is a close up picture of pine bark. (Arizona)
This picture of a shammel ash tree was taken with infra-red film. This film turnes green leaves white when the sun is shining on them and has a grainy effect. Neat!
For comparison, here is the same tree with ordinary black and white film. (Arizona)
This is another extreme close up of a tree stump that in reality is no bigger than 6 square inches.
