Ramona Falls is at the end of a forest hike near the base of Mount Hood which is just east of Portland, Oregon. The amount of water falling is much less than the average for a prominent waterfall. But this one fans out to such a wide base as the water cascades over black rocks that this was the most photogenic site I've seen. With the ambient lighting, the green moss growing on the rocks seemed to glow - wonderful!
This incredible cliff face was exposed along the trail to Ramona Falls.
