Forest Park in Portland, Oregon is the largest in-city park in the nation. Except for the occasional sounds of cars or boats going by near the perimeter, hiking along the trails througout the park reminded me of hikes I'd taken in remote locales hours away from any other city. The Wildwood trail is a 30-mile loop!
